Section 125 Plan
Flexible Spending Accounts
Accounts used to pay for qualified medical expenses and/or benefit expenses. Spending accounts normally include Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs), Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs), Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), Transit Spending Accounts (TSAs), and Dependent Care Accounts (DCAs).
The procedure of providing proof of purchase for a healthcare claim (typically, receipts).
Spending account where the employee has elected to forgo health reimbursements for the coverage period. Suspended HRAs may be combined with HSAs depending on plan design.
